Patti Casey is a Vermont singer/songwriter who has long been driven by a powerful sense of tradition. A prolific composer, she has perfected her own New England-flavored, somewhat bluegrassy style, one that shines equally with a welcome, familiar sound and an undeniable originality. Her velvety, earthy voice rings true whether performing her own material or songs from other, traditionally-rooted repertoires. In addition to a very busy solo career, Patty performs regularly with popular group the Bluegrass Gospel Project and has also lent her talent to several projects on award-winning children's label ReBop Records. She has been a winner at the prestigious Kerrville and Merlefest songwriting festivals and has appeared on NPR's "A Prairie Home Companion" with Garrison Keillor. Patti lives and creates from her home in Montpelier, Vermont, the country's smallest state capitol.
